Directions to Cecil Street Project
By Car
(From North/ South/ East)
Take Exit 42 on the M6 and then take the second exit on the roundabout, signposted Carlisle. Head straight up London Road, continue up Botchergate until you see a sign for Cecil Street and William Street Car Park. Turn right at the sign onto Portland Place, go straight over the mini-roundabout then turn left towards Cecil Street Car Park. The Cecil Street Project is the large chapel building, positioned 3 buildings up from Tait Street.
(From West)
Take the A595 to Carlisle and head towards City Centre/ Hardwicke Circus. Take the 4th exit (turning right) towards the city centre, and carry on going straight through both sets of traffic lights. You will then be heading down Brunswick Street and will see The Cecil Street Project on your right after about 400 yards. The Cecil Street Project is the large chapel building, positioned 3 buildings up from Tait Street.
On Foot from Train Station
(5 minute walk)
Head straight out of the train station towards The Griffin Pub and turn right down Botchergate. Continue walking down for approximately 400 yards until you reach a pedestrian crossing. Cross here and turn left off Botchergate onto Tait Street. Walk to the end of Tait Street and turn left. The Cecil Street Project is the 3rd building along, the large chapel building up some steps.
On Foot from Town Centre
Walk towards the train station and Botchergate, and then follow the directions above.
